
Honey Mustard Chicken Thighs

Crispy skin, tangy sweet seasoning- this is the chicken recipe you've been craving!
Ingredients
- approx. 1.5lbs chicken thighs (skin on)
- 1/4 cup dijon mustard
- 1-1.5 tbsp honey (depending on how sweet you want it)
- 1/4 cup Italianndressng
- 1/2 tbsp Italian season
- 2 tsp rosemary (fresh or dried)
- 1/4 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Combine all wet and dry ingredients in a bowl, stir
- Prep your chicken thighs (trim excess fat/skin)
- Put your chicken thighs in a gallon sized zip lock bag
- Add mixed ingredients to the bag w/ chicken and make sure everything is well coated
- Marinate for 20min-1hr (if you have the time)
- Heat skillet and add cooking oil of your choice
- When oil is hot, place chicken skin side down on pan (do not over crowd pan)
- After about 3 minutes flip to underside and cook for about another 3 minutes
- Transfer chicken to a lined baking dish and heat on 425° F for approx. 30 minutes (some ovens take more time or less, but thighs are very hard to overcook)
- When internal temp reaches 165° F it is safe to eat
Notes
I will sometimes add all my extra veggies to this dish and make a one pan meal. Usually it is asparagus or potatoes, but you can add mushrooms or anything else you have handy. Season your sides and add to pan. Also I like to batch cook this chicken, that way we have extra meals for the week!
